Creativity

Every new product starts with an idea. A creative director or writer can always come up with an idea, but you can't jump straight from a good idea to making the project. The process of an idea can be layed out in a "Synthesis" model, which looks like this:

It's called a "Synthesis" model because each part plays off of each other, working in synergy to create the product:
  • After thinking of a solution, you must ensure that it has a set target audience and then put enough research into the project.
  • Having a target audience in mind helps you come up with a suitable solution - if the product is directed towards children, a kid-friendly idea is ideal. You can then research into said target audience for ideas on how to build the product.
  • Think of a topic you have researched previously (if and where acceptable) and then you will have an easier time thinking of a solution and a target audience.
